about

Experimental noise by BDLN (Noise) and EON (sound collage/mix)
from noise/HN to illbient soundscapes

"EON / BDLN is the duo formed occasionally by two french experimental musicians who go by the mysterious monikers Thomas Jaquot and "another" anonymous artist, operate out of the land of cold, wet and ancient city of Dijon, France. It is unsurprising then that the EON´s sounds have been known to create since 2005, and continue to showcase here on "Extratemoral dimensions", are unsettling blends of slow, deep and almost morbid noise, death metal and old dirty industrial music. However, I wouldn’t expect anything else from musicians whose brains may have been completely fried by the unforgiving environment they’ve chosen to call home – and I speak from personal frying experience, having just escaped from another dimension myself. Listen to this album is like driving through a volcano in full eruption and stay static, admiring the beauty of brutality and excessive force that Nature sometimes shows. EON is Mother Nature who complain of human abuse, and his way to complain is by volcanoes, hurricanes or huge tsunamis. An infernal noise that comes from the core of the earth, and operates to crush human pride. That feeling that the human being is the center of the universe and is master of the whole universe. EON joined forces with BDLN to sound even more brutal and devastating. Good and true HNW with little touches of droning textures. Never fast, always slow. Very good result."
